Casa Romantica

My hummingbird talk on November 18th, 2010 at Casa Romantica was an evening event.  I presented information about hummingbirds and shared my photographs of hummingbirds with 84 guests.  The historical landmark, the Casa Romantica in San Clemente was a wonderful setting for my talk.  Originally the home of Ole Hanson in 1927 who introduced the first master planned community in California.  It overlooks the Pacific Ocean.  Beautiful original tiled floors, spacious arched passage ways, wooden floors and metal door knobs that reflect the early Spanish style accents of that time.  The guests enjoyed learning and appreciating more about the “Jewels of Nature”, hummingbirds in their garden.
